So very proud of my little man

So we received Fox's report card from school the other day. He received an A in every subject but two..and those two he received B's..which is awesome as well. We're thinking he's going to be a weather man when he gets older cause for science, his teacher wrote "Fox can predict the types of weather for a certain season based on weather patterns". lol Just imagine.... "..and tonight on the 6 o'clock news, your weather specialist, Fox Thorne"...awesome!

Saying Goodbye is never easy
God looked around His garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon His earth and saw your loving face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest, His garden must be beautiful, He only takes the BEST. He knew that you were suffereing, He knew you were in pain, and he knew that you eould never get well, on this earth again. He saw your path was difficult, He closed your tired eyes. He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly. When we saw you sleeping, so calm and free of pain, we would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again. You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide. You live on through your children, you're always by our side. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you on the day God called you home.Nanny....I love and miss you more than anyone will ever know.
I love my kids
Here are my beautiful children on Fox's first day of Grade One. Phil and I are so very proud of him.
This next picture is a picture of both Fox and Nevada wearing their Nanny Deborah's sunglasses. She's no longer with us but we make sure that we keep her memory alive either with a picture, a talk or even physical objects.

Wednesday :(
Well, it's been a long time coming but Fox is finally going to have tubes put in his ears. The infections have been coming more and more frequently, 3 in the last month so the doctor finally has agreed to do it. Here's hoping it'll work and stop his infections. Nothing worse then not being able to take the pain away from your children.

So behind in time
So it seems like ages since I've last posted anything. Part of me feels like just stopping the blog but then I think about my amazing friend Sarah, someone who I don't get to talk to much other than through facebook and I think about how this is such an awesome way of keeping in touch...so alas...I shall keep blogging..lol.
IN WITH THE OLD....OUT WITH THE NEW.
It's now 2011 and I can't believe my little man will be 6 this year and my little girl will be 4. 2010 was good to us though, Fox started big boy school, Nevada became..and is becoming more and more independant, I returned to work and we get to spend a lot more time with Phil. Not all things were great though, Fox broke his colar bone in school (he was pushed by another little boy) and we've recently found out that Nevada is going to need surgery on her eyes..something we're not looking forward to but if it helps her, then bring it on. She's a fighter, just like Fox is so we're sure she'll pull through it with flying colors.
Do I have any resolutions for 2011...NOPE. I've tried and tried many times to keep any resolutions I made in the past and they never worked out so this year I'm gonna do something new...I'm gonna just take things one day at a time. I'm gonna get healthy...one day at a time, I'm gonna become a better mom..one day at a time, I'm gonna become a better wife..one day at a time and I'm gonna become a better person..one day at a time.
Christmas was awesome. The kids were very excited and happy that Santa came...after all, there's nothing more precious then seeing the smiles on my childrens faces. Making them happy is something I'll never stop working at doing. Phil and I also had a few surprises for one another so that was nice. We had family over as well and we also got to spend Christmas Eve with a long lost friend whom we've not seen in probably 7 years or so..so needless to say, our Christmas Eve and the following days were perfect. I love my family!
