Having her cake and eating it too...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAKE EATING NEVADA.

Well as you all know by know..Nevada is 1 years old. We had to wait a week to have a celebration because my parents live a distance away and weren't able to make it down for her actual birthday but we finally had it and here are some pictures. She even opened her own presents and then got all mad and screamed when we took them away so she could open up another one. It was very cute!! At one point when we presented her with her little cake, she started gagging on the icing and then very daintly touched it with her fingers so Phil ended up sort of pushing it in her face so we could get a cute picture of her with icing all over her...ended up making a nose imprint in the icing..lol...she just looked at him and then when she realized that she liked it...she dug right in.

Ok so my princess is now one and to make her even more of a little princess...I painted her toe nails...and they look so cute...may not be all that even but still...she was walking the other day and was looking down, noticed them and stopped dead in her tracks and bent over as far as she could go to see her toes and then stood up and just kept on walking.

Ok so as I was sitting at the table feeding Nevada, Fox came running to the screen door yelling for me to go see what he had just done. As I got out there, I noticed that he had drawn this picture. He informed me that it was his daddy and me...how cute is he...and accurate...look at the size of his daddy's head...lol!!!!!!!...and how skinny I am..lol!!!

Ahhhh, to be 13 again...OR NOT!!!

Ok so my neice is staying with us over the weekend and all I can say is that I am so glad that I am not her age anymore. I mean, was I really this boy crazy??? Will Nevada be this boy crazy??? Do I have to lock her in her room just to keep her from being this way? Will Phil and I have to invest in one of those midevil belts??? It just amazes me that people, kids really...go on and on about BOYS when they are just learning to...well pretty much in most cases...wipe their own a**. This is now where I insert a prayer to the Good Lord above to watch over my daughter and to give me the strength that I''m gonna need when she reaches this age and to also appologize to my mom if I ever put her through anything like this. Just makes a person think you know!!!
